Licia Corbella on Israel’s Tenuous Peace

On her Corbella Report blog, Calgary Herald editorial page editor Licia Corbella shares her thoughts after taking a helicopter tour of Israel: “Fully 70 per cent of Israel’s population and 80 per cent of its industrial capacity is within range of Qassam rockets. If everyone could see that, they’d get it. They’d understand why a security barrier is needed in areas where hostile populations are as far away as 100-metres or closer.”
